SpiderOne

SpiderOne is a multi-protocol acceleration platform. It can be used to compress and accelerate applications based on any TCP/IP protocol. Compression protocols other than HTTP require cooperation between two devices (HTTP supports compression innately). SpiderOne uses the ActivStation auto-recognition mechanism. Therefore, you do not have to configure the devices to specify which appliance they are interfacing with.

SpiderOne is installed non-intrusively in a live network and uses the same transparent and undetectable interception mechanism (Cf — IP Transparency) as all other ActivStation-based devices.
