Today, many Hyperion platforms are accelerated thanks to BoostEdge. Bandwidth savings currently reach and often exceeds 10. The application can thus run up to 5 times faster. This performance upgrade improves user experience and company productivity. BoostEdge embeds many acceleration techniques that overcome usual compression methods:

PDF optimization

New: PDF files processing. Usually, PDF files are non-compressible because they are made of images and other compressed components. Thus trying to re-compress a PDF file is mostly useless. BoostEdge now includes a PDF files otpimization unit. PDF files are re-built component by component in an optimized manner. The resulting size is currently cut by a factor 8.

Eight times faster at INTRALOT

Response times on many transactions have been cut by a factor of 8, thanks to the new optimization techniques implemented on BoostEdge. Hyperion can now be operated by remote users connected via a satellite link.
